Each week, you have the opportunity to gather to discuss what you are learning and encourage one another. We’ve provided an outline for what we think could be included during a WordGo Gathering, but please do make it your own.
Suggested running time: one hour
00 - 10 | Welcome & treats
Create a welcoming atmosphere by taking time to connect with any Group Members as they arrive. Serving a few light refreshments will help people feel comfortable. For a few more tips, take a look at the Creating the Experience training.
10 - 15 | Introductions
Remind the group of the Bible passage you are focusing on this week and introduce any new members. First names and a little context will help Group Members feel more at ease during the discussion time.

Capture attendance
As part of this Beta test, we are gathering attendance info - it’s as simple as tapping on the person’s name to check them in. During the introductions is a good opportunity to do this.
15 - 45 | Group discussion
Take time to share what you are learning and encourage one another. We’ve provided some help with how to best guide this time in the Preparing to Guide training.
ACCESS YOUR Q&A
In the gathering view you will see all the questions and any answers you’ve filled in each week. Both Guides and Members have access to their Q&A for that week.
45 - 55 | Takeaway & prayer
Ask Group Members to share “one thing” (in 30 seconds or less) that they are taking away from this week’s study. After this, take time to ask if anyone has a personal prayer request and spend a few minutes praying together.

NOTES & PRAYER REQUESTS
In the weekly group notes & prayer requests, you can note down any details or prayer requests that come up. It’s a great way for the whole group to remember key details.
55 - 60 | Close & update
Thank the group for coming and let them in on the details of the next Gathering.
SHARE a reminder of the next gathering
You can update your group of any changes to the next Gathering through the App. Tap the ‘Next Week’ title, set the time/date and location and hit ‘send.’
